reading formats

DXLD's document are a good source of information for the experienced
and newcomer on World of Radio that can be read in 3 file format.

TXT:

The plain text can be read on any device with reader,
web browser or text editor.

Some text editor will have active web link and speak reader.

HTML:

This format is good for reading on a desktop computer or on a TV set.

• The document fonts:

  • fixed-width dejavu sans mono or
  • fixed-width courier new or
  • fixed-width web browser default: monospace
  • sans-serif font: helvetica.

• Menu features:

  • At first load of the document, the Menu is invisible.
  • When moving your mouse at the top right
    of the screen document, the Menu show dimmed.
  • Clicking at that area, activate the Menu.

• Menu items: [LINKS|CONTENT|BOX SHADE|EDIT|NOTES|ABOUT]

  1. LINKS: show/hide urls of paragraph numbers,
     (for bookmarking).
  2. CONTENT: show/hide a Table of Content,
     (for bookmarking or for stepping to a sections or a country log).
  3. BOX SHADE: activate/deactivate paragraph background shading,
     (help focusing when reading).
  4. EDIT: (a tool for myself)
     • show/hide a ruler
     • and paragraph numbers buttons
       • to switch between preformatted
       • or justified text.
  5. NOTES: (not yet implemented)
  6. ABOUT: (not yet implemented).

PDF:

This format is well for reading on:

• desktop computer,
• cell phones,
• tablets
• or on a TV set.

• Features:
  • Width of the text is set to 70 characters.
  • Paper format is set to legal.
  • URL links start your default web browser.
  • Some links jump to specific point in the document.
  • Table of contents or 'pdf bookmark index' are available
    to jump to sections or to a country log.
